Family or Medical Leave Act

The Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) is a federal law that applies to employers who employ 50 or more employees.  FMLA provides employees with up to three months of unpaid, job-protected leave for certain family or medical needs. The Utah Women’s Coalition is studying the impact of different leave policies on employers and employees in Utah.  To help us better understand the relationship between family/medical needs and workplace leave policies, please fill out the corresponding “employer” or “employee” survey below.  All responses will be kept confidential.
